ivo.es Teaching

The IVO is an accredited teaching centre with the Ministry of Health for training specialists in:  

  • Medical Oncology
  • Radiotherapy Oncology
  • Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology
  • Hospital Radiophysics

These positions are allocated by means of the public awarding system as established by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

In addition, residents from other centres come to the IVO to complete their training with training stays in the different services and units.

The IVO also participates in undergraduate teaching in any health science discipline, by virtue of existing collaboration agreements with universities and centres in the Valencian Community.

Specialised Healthcare Training (FSE in Spanish)

The IVO offers 4 accredited positions for Specialised Healthcare Training in: Medical Oncology, Radiotherapy Oncology, Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology and Hospital Radiophysics.

Teaching commission

The IVO’s teaching commission is mainly responsible for organising training, supervising its practical application and monitoring compliance with the objectives specified in the programmes. 

Its mission is to identify and meet the training expectations and needs of the IVO professionals regarding health sciences and other related sciences on an ongoing basis.
